![]() I heard something about the Hamas also supporting this mosque. Has anyone else heard anything about the Hamas supporting this mosque? Lets face it we have a worthless President who could care less about his own country and would rather kiss all the other contries @ss'. Hopefully this November will be a telling of the future of this country. He also would rather take the side of a Muslim before taking side with this country. I also know that not all Muslims are bad people.

It was part of a cable comedy skit the other day, talking about the fact that the second-largest shareholder of News Corp (Wall Street Journal and Fox News), after Rupert Murdoch and family, is Muslim Prince Awaleed bin Talal of Saudi. He owns 2.5 billion dollars of Fox and Wall Street Journal. The Muslims own Fox and WSJ ! OMG!

![]() It is amazing how our gov officials push separation of church & st, and our pres can openly say is it okay for a mosque at ground zero, yet areas of the US can’t even put a simple white cross up for police officers. The ground zero issue is not one of freedom of religion; it is about respecting the 1000s of lost souls..., their families, the US, and not allowing the extremist / anti American groups to mock the USA.
I've been to ground zero, and within 2 -3 blocks is all the same area. The so called cultural center includes a mosque. Why there? This is basically a financial district without any real Muslim population. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf made many of feelings known in the 60 Minutes show, and he supports a strict Muslim law going against our constitutional way of life. I’m proud of this countries freedom of religion and our tolerance; however, this will be used, if only in symbolism, by those who want to destroy us, to glorify the evil of their act. Don’t be naive. What’s the big fuss? -ask the families of 911. For our Muslim friends who want peace, they should easily understand this is not the right location. "Why is there such opposition? Because the people aren’t buying into the administration’s talking points on this matter. What they understand, and what the administration fails to understand, is that this building has nothing to do with religious freedom. Muslims are not being prohibited from practicing their religion. They are simply being asked to display a sense of decency by building the mosque in an area not directly involved in such an emotional event for our nation; away from the site where thousands of lives ended in a declaration of war from radical Islam." Quote from Rusty Weiss From Rachel Zoll, AP Religion Writer "American Muslims who support the proposed mosque and Islamic center near ground zero are facing skeptics within their own faith — those who argue that the project is insensitive to Sept. 11 victims and needlessly provocative at a... time when Muslims are pressing for wider acceptance in the U.S." and Ms. Zoll continues by quoting from a senior fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies ".....This, in my view, will be perceived by radicals in Islam as a defeat for their ideology. They think in a very primitive way. If they see a mosque near ground zero, this would certainly be perceived as a sign of victory for al-Qaeda. In the end, they will think, `They are bowing to us.'"

This group has been at the exact location in question since last year. Why should these Americans be kicked out of their private property now? Why are their fellow Americans turning against them now? Quote:
