Friday Fairplex $.50 p-4s
Races 3-6 and 8-11
The key is to find the false favorites Pedroza is on. 10th race is wide open, Pedroza on a O'Neill horse off since last year. 9th race he's on a second out 2yo maiden in a race which anyone can win. 8th race Pedroza is one for 30 with 10 itm for trainer Lewis at Fairplex. 8-5 morning line. 11th race he's on the only horse who's likely to be on the lead from the outside in a maiden claimer. Joy Scott on the 5 showed early foot in July against the 7 horse who is 5-1 morning line. I'll take a flyer on the #5 wp and box her with Pedroza. 3rd race his horse has beaten the two inside horses earlier this year but all three horses have been claimed since and Pedroza's horse gets the best shake in the trainer changes. O'Neill has a 3yo whose figs are light. I like the outside horse wp (#5) and boxed with Pedroza (3-5) 4th race he's on a rare Baffert claim going 4 furlongs. I'm looking toward the #1 5th race O'Neill again, he looks good in this field. 6th race he's on an even money morning line 1 for16 horse in a nw 2 life. 3 others in here can run competitively with him. 3rd-3p/5 ex 4th-1,5,3p 5th-2p 6th-2p,7,6,3 7th- 8th-1/4p 9th-2/8-speed,5,6,7p....win place 8, 7-8 ex box 10th-2,5/6p,8,9 11th-8p,3/7,2,5-joy scott wp, box 5-8 late p-4 1,4 2,7,8 2,5 3,8 $12 early p-4 3,5 1,3,5 2 2,3,6,7 $12 I'm on my way to California and will have to stop in Flagstaff to wager if I can find an internet connection. Nice pick ! Good for Jack Van Berg. That horse made the p-4 sequence double the parlay.
