Default Here come the Astros & Marlins

Astros only 3.5 games behind the wildcard with a pitching rotation that will scare anybody in the postseason.

And where did the Marlins come from? Only 2 back, are you kidding me? I had a fork in them 2 months ago.

I WAS WONDERING THE SAME THING THIS MORNING ABOUT THE MARLINS GANDER! I wrote them off months ago too. Me the FL girl! I hope they have away games the next few days.

Astros are getting lucky. I don't think they will be there in the end.

Marlins started 11-31.

The owner, Jeffrey Loria, almost fired Girardi a couple weeks ago. They went as far as setting up a room for the press conference. Eventually, he backed down.

Earlier this week, Loria did NOT give any credit to Girardi for the teams good play when interviewed in the paper.

Now the talk is Loria has to decide whether to fire Girardi before or after he most likely wins NL Manager of the Year.

Go figure.

We finished a game behind Elroy Jetson's Astro last year...it won't happen again, as The Fightin' Phils will seize the day, and go on to rematch the Yankees (1950) in the World Series.

ps, now, now Buffy you said they Braves are your team, you cant be going bandwagon on us...

Braves are my team. When I said I am a FL girl, I meant I live in FL. Braves are my #1 but since they aren't around, I will root for Marlins by default. Heart was with the Braves before the Marlins came around. I am loyal to a fault.
