I really hope the Miss Grillo stays on turf and that the AEs get in. I thought Friend or Foe was going in the Kelso.

I feel bad about those AEs as well.

I bet Friend or Foe shows up in the Jamaica ( I am just guessing ). His inevitable crash and burn has already begun.

The Miss Grillo is really a loaded race, and that's without the two AE's.

Which begs the question: Whose chances are better in the Jamaica: Friend or Foe or Admiral Alex?

What a nice filly Winter Memories is!

Ugh on the traffic trouble Silent Joy had.

The move to dirt seemed to be a good one for the Kelso. I'm happy for Bond and Tizway. He's been a good horse but has always run up against a couple that were just a bit better.

Winter Memories looks like a beast. She is a serious filly. In her debut the jock couldn't pull her up, she just flew around the turn.

Mythical Power was awful. He didn't exactly make the Woodward look good.

Neither did Tranquil Manner but I'm not sure it's fair to judge the Woodward off those performances. They were a little too bad.

Not that the Woodward was a particularly good race.

Granted, Arcodoro is another horse who you wouldn't expect graded stakes success from but he finished 7th of 8 in the Hawthorne Gold Cup beaten 71.5 lengths. Amazingly enough it was another 18.75 lengths back to Temple City in a race where the winner and last place finisher were spread out over 90 lengths. That has to be on the verge of being a record.

The Woodward did not look like a good race during it or after and while much couldn't really be expected from the also-rans, I can't see it as anything but a negative sign for Quality Road.

Regal Ransom ran horrible with the addition of front wraps! I hope the winner is BC nominated. The BC mile is going to be alot better than the previous synthetic additions..

I'm going to go PG1985 and declare that we just saw two Breeder's Cup winners.

Tizway deserved a graded stake. He ran a nice race and wow, Regal Ransom was horrendous.

Kudos to NYRA for moving the Kelso to the dirt. It was a far more interesting/competitive race this year than it had been recently.
