Is there anything more amusing than liberals devouring their own, using their favorite weapon: political correctness?

Except when one uses the free market to get hired on a contract with an employer, and that contract has certain provisions as to one's behaviour as an employee, that you agree to when you are hired, a good capitalist really shouldn't complain when those provisions are enforced

NPR also publically this week said their news employees will not be attending Jon Stewart's "Rally to Restore Sanity" as attendees. They can go as reporters.

So speaking the truth is now contractually off limits? I'm interested in knowing how you know what is in Williams contract with NPR. I would also like to know what 'behavior' Williams displayed that was so egregious?

And kudos to NPR for simply covering the "Rally" as liberally biased media members as opposed to liberally biased participants.

It is if you are hired as a news analyst, and you sign a contract that you will not publically engage in opinion.

It's been discussed in various news outlets - in fact one of the links, above has it.

His bosses have been quoted as calling what he said "bigoted".

How do you analyze something without giving an opinion?

What has been quoted is a general rule, not specific to Williams contract.

His bosses are idiots who have already retracted that label

Default Huckabee calls on Congress to cut NPR funding

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...t-npr-funding/

Quote:
NPR says federal funding comprises less than 2 percent of its budget, with most of its financial support coming from station fees, sponsorships and grants.
There should be NO federal funding.

Being old enough to have witnessed NPR's birth, I'm glad it's there, it's done exactly what it has supposed to do for the past 40-odd years.
