Murkowski wins in Alaska
Wow - first successful write-in for Senator in years. Sarah Palin hand-picked Tea Party candidate on Faux today still not conceding. Have some class, Joe - you clearly got your butt handed to you.
Although Miller won the GOP primary, even that state didn't want his extreme conservatism (or maybe they were turned off by his ethics convictions, or his tweeting that he was measuring drapes in Washington before the election, his handcuffing of reporters for asking questions, or the bad 1980's beard) A more moderate GOP goes back to Washington - yay!

Congrats to Ms Murkowski. Miller obviously has no dignity and should be man enough and concede. Even if you through out the obvious votes for Ms Murkowski that we misplelled she still has a 2000 vote lead.

Great news for lobbyists, now that the pork queen has scratched and clawed her way back in, holding on to daddy's seat. now that she's asserted her independence from both parties, she'll be courted with goodies like never before.
