Didn't this race used to be 1 5/8?

I would be against AS if I play this race. I would use 2,6 thinking they both still have some upside.

It's been 1 3/16 since the 70s I think. The Gallant Fox is 1 5/8 and they used to have a prep for it shortly after the switch to the inner.
I haven't even looked at the field but Arson Squad got a huge setup last time and was pointed to the Cigar Mile before altering course. He's one of those subpar horses I've always liked but he'd be a shaky favorite. |

After the Marathon was the only race I hit in the Breeders Cup, I have decided to focus strictly on dirt races at 12 furlongs and up for the current year. Waiting for the Gallant Fox fully loaded.

There is a really good baby race earlier on the card. I think about 5 of them can run, and I would be excited to bet against the Dutrow who ran a 91 beyer last time. |

You are thinking of the Gallant Fox..which was a prep for the 2 1/4 mile Display.
