No, you need to tell us how you screwed up the bet and meant to mortgage your house on that exacta, but you tripped on the way to the bank, stunning yourself, and before you remembered what you were doing, there was not enough time to get all that money to bet on the race, so you only made 2k instead of 2 million.

Good question. I think at the price she'll be, it's worth a few dollars trying to beat her. Depending on her odds, I might be a little on Mona de Momma from on or right off the pace.

It was the main reason he didn't consider for even a second the Apple Blossom for her, despite the prospect of a huge purse. quote prior to the Big Cap (where she ducked Zenyatta--thanks Vic): "...we’re going to keep her on synthetic. We would not consider the Apple Blossom ($5 million, April 9) because she’s going to stay on the synthetic.” |

Ill be taking a shot with Ten Devils. Im not sold on Tapizar, I do feel he is fortunate though as their does not appear to be much in his way in this spot. St. Trinians looks pretty tough to beat IMO. |

I figured they were wrong.Kinda like Tampa with the birds flying and tripping the timer.Tapizar did a good job of wearing himself out though.

Tapizar is just not that good. Take a better look at the horses he lost to in the maiden races, then look at who he beat in his wins. I never got this horse. The big Cali horses both lost today, God I hope Smash is ready to run. Last I checked 4 works. He could really be the one out West.

Bench Points came off the shelf and ran down Da Ruler yesterday. Now 4 for 4, two Cal-bred stakes wins. Needs to stretch out, but damside reasonably strong for it, so not a retread of Brother Derek (another by Benchmark).

Both the Sham and the Robert Lewis were glorified first condition allowance races. If the fairly consistent Riveting Reason is any sort of barometer, you can pretty much right off the horses out here. Jaycito is probably the last hope. I like the 7f comeback start (if Baffert holds to it). He may come up to the Derby slightly under-the-radar the way Real Quiet did in '98. |
