![]() Might as well he already has enough cash. I never understand why horses(Comma to the Top) who have enough money pass on the race?? Run the damn horse and who knows what will happen
I would not bet him but stranger things have happened(MTB and Shackleford running 2nd) |

![]() Stay Thirsty is the heavy favorite right now to be the horse leading up to the Derby that misses a couple of days of training with a "foot" problem, has his final work postponed by a day or two, works a scorching 1/2 mile on entry day, and then comes up with an injury about an hour later.

![]() Not really sure that any praise should be tossed the connections' way with regards to Comma To The Top, simply because they (at least for the moment) made the logic decision to bypass the Kentucky Derby.
He was campaigned aggressively late last year ("he thrives on racing") to great effect, but now, predictably, has fallen apart in his two starts this year. Seems all the "best interest of the horse" posturing is just a prefabricated excuse in anticipation of another humbling in the Santa Anita Derby. I'm actually curious as to why he's even running in the race in the first place. If he happens to win, is he really going to skip going to Churchill? I doubt it. |
