Master of Hounds in KY Derby? (Yes!)
anyone have any news over there in the magical lands of Ireland about this one coming over?
What about the Arabs? Surely they must be mulling someone to have over, after this weekend, at least think about Arthurs Tale |

Highly doubtful to send anyone from Dubai, but US-based Arthur's Tale would seem their most likely choice. Master Of Hounds surely looks better after this weekend and ran a crackup race in the UAE Derby, he is possible from what I've read overseas and been told.

yeah you would think even without a real top class 3 year old like they have had in years past, they can take advantage of this suspect crop of 3 yr olds with someone like Master. I also would hope they would employ an American rider for him and if not at least try to Frankie on him if Godolphin will let him.

O'Brien said MOH is a KY Derby horse(he is also nominated to the TC)but the owners will decide between that and the Guineas
Arthur's Tale on the other hand was suppose to do the Wood-Peter Pan-Belmont route, but now are looking at the Derby. The only problem is with $200,000 in earnings he prolly won't get in since the Arkansas Derby will get 2 or 3 in and the Bluegrass will get Santiva and whoever wins in |

Since JR is taken, they will usually go with Prado or Gomez. God forbid Jamie Spencer is used |

If they're ever going to do it - I guess this year looks as good as any.

he is a stalker, nothing really stands out with his running style, but he is consistent and classy. Plus his breeding all suggests the classic distances is what he was born to do. Ran a nice race in Dubai, his first off the layoff and just got a bit tired in the end which was very justifiable. Look for O'brien to have this one at 100% if and when he runs in the derby, the horse he lost to Khawalah is a filly but a real exceptional one who could very well be one of the best horses at the end of the year male or female.

He appears to be a stalker, has tactical speed and distance won't be a problem based on his breeding...my biggest concern is the fact he's had only one three year old prep! Note: just saw Seattle's answer, I concur...could be a major player if he takes to CD surface.
