Possibly another glorious victory for my Redneck one-time next door neighbor during my school days in McKean. He won a million bucks on a $20 scratch off lotto ticket last year... I'm not really sure of anyone else my age or younger around here who's capable of winning over a half million dollars at even-money a hand.

Presque Isle Downs & Casino was one of four casinos that saw its table game revenue decline in October, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported.

But the casino would have seen a revenue increase of 34 percent for the month if an Erie County man in his late 20s had not won a net $568,290 at the blackjack tables, casino spokeswoman Jennifer See said.

I'm hearing a bunch of insane stories about this guy.

They are saying he's about 25 or so years old and always has a band on his wrist. I've heard that he lived in a trailer and worked as an asst to a local electrician.

I've heard that the casino refused to raise the max for him -- and he's never bet anymore than 3K a hand... but he plays 3 hands at once for 3k each.

I've heard that he plays on a private table, and they swear he can't be cheating. Certainly no card counting because he's all by himself at a private table. I heard he once took about 140K cash home with him on one night. I heard the casino would send a limo to his trailer to pick him up -- but now he's just bought a house.

If you can only bet $3,000 a hand -- you'd have to be like +190 hands to make that much.

A single blackjack player, who locals describe as an alleged beginner card counter, with a genius IQ and the memory of mutated elephant won over half a million dollars during what must have been one exciting blackjack game. This put an end to management’s dreams of finally seeing even a small profit from table games

The alleged beginner card counter, known as ‘Lucky Lenny’ in the world of online blackjack in USA, has been described by witnesses as a well-dressed man in his late twenties who wore a heavy gold ring with the word ‘lucky’ distinctly encrusted with diamonds on the right pinkie finger.

Even a beginner card counter who is winning at blackjack (and on a lucky streak) was all that it took for the casino to go in the red and for the Lucky Lenny to walk out with $568,290 of the casino’s money in his pocket.

At the news conference, Jennifer See, the spokes-model for the casino confirmed the approximate age and the amount won playing high stakes black jack. The casino refused to disclose the name, address, phone number, email and age of the blackjack beginner card counter.

Not sure why a casino would allow a real card counter to knowingly play. If you count well and bet appropiately the casino is sure to lose. In Indiana they let you count but lower the max bet and reshuffle every 6 hands to minimize their risk.

The dopey locals are saying that about him ... I've been told that the suits feel certain he's not a counter, he's not cheating, and he's just insanely lucky for now.
