Unfortunately, on the TBD turf course, you will get a bunch of brutal trip/rides in every race. In this race, however, I think Horvat Clan is the horse you want back. This one was behind the 3 that finished on the wire together at the top of the stretch, and went inside, mostly because of how wide the others were, and was never clear through the stretch.

NBA Money did get a wide trip, but was closing well late, and probably would have won had the race been 5 yards longer.

Now, if you want to see a bad ride, watch #7 Papa Carlos from race 10.

Default Jane Cibelli

She pulled her stable down to Gulfstream, seems like the purse structure, and casino competion from south florida, puts this venue on credit watch???

Not just the wide trip... How about the big time premature move on the backstretch. Then turning for home the horse looks totally empty only to come flying again.

There was no big premature move on the backstretch. He began pushing the horse when they approached the far turn and was following the flow of the race. He was certainly wide and the horse was an unlucky loser because of the way he finished up.

It almost looked like he was running in spots. He looked finished top of the stretch and then got into the bridle again and finished up fast.

Tough beat? Sure. But I don't know if it was rider error.

I thought he moved early and wide. He was last really early on. I agree though, spots is exactly how I would put it.

That was the flow of the race. Both the 8 and 10 moved at the same time, and they, along with the 9, finished 1-2-3. If your looking for a patient ride at TBD, you are shat out of luck. It happens once in a blue moon.
