Default RIP Etta James.....

Sad loss, truly a musical treasure. RIP Miss Etta, thank you for all the great music. Steve perhaps some Etta this week in tribute. Perhaps Mr. Zito would enjoy this as well.

Perhaps you meant Albert King, he was a great player as well he passed away in 1992. It's ok, the sentiment is understood.

That's the one. Both fantastic Blues players.

No clue, didn't he play for the Nets, or was that Bernard? Or both? Either way, different Albert. No wait, seems to me Albert may have played with the Sixers back in the Dr. J. days, i could be wrong?

I had the pleasure of meeting him about 5-6 years ago. He wasn't a picture of good health, but what a nice guy. He sat down and talked to a group of us like he knew us for 20 years.

That's outstanding, he sounds like a great man. Hell he's one of a select group on Sirius who now have their own channel, BB King's Bluesville one of my favs. In terms of his health he's got diabetes, so it is a big concern, but last i heard he was still touring. Terrific player to say the least.
