![]() Can someone tell me how this will increase traffic to horse racing, when you have no race track.
http://www.paulickreport.com/news/th...r-at-aqueduct/ These guys are nothing but a bunch of greedy b's, who are bullies. I am sure our Governor will think this is a great idea. ![]() |

![]() I found this part interesting:
>>>Genting will pay for upgrades to the Aqueduct subway station and for direct A-train service to take passengers from Fulton Street in Manhattan to the site—with a stop in downtown Brooklyn—in half the 35 minutes it takes now. The company won't fund a new AirTrain spur from John F. Kennedy International Airport. It also will not pay for street upgrades.<<< If they design an new "A" train that gets you from essentially JFK to midtown in roughly 15-20 minutes -the implications would be exponential - much further reaching than simply attracting slot players and convention goers to Ozone Park. so Genting pays for it (right now) - who runs it? who pays for maintenance and upkeep? MTA? if so, expect the AirTrain to make a stop in Aqueduct - and a gazillion airport customers that have no interest in either taking advantage of the convenience... lotta hands in this pie, and getting them all together will be a sight to see. |
