Default ATR PROGRAM NOTE: Jack Whitaker (3/13)

Am delighted to promote a visit from broadcasting legend Jack Whitaker on ATR Tuesday, March 13 at 11:00a.. In addition to conversation of his appreciation for racing, we will discuss the current state of broadcast journalism of sports and his long, storied career. Thanks to Randy Moss for helping facilitate Whitaker's visit.

This has the makings of an awesome ATR visit. Jack Whitaker has worked some of the most memorable racing days in my life, Secretariat's Derby to Ruffian's match race, to name a few. I look forward to it.

ah, yes...the old days.

welcome to abc's wide world of sports....i'm jim mckay...and then he'd introduce jack whitaker and charlsie canty because they were the horse team. i still miss jim mckay, he was a fabulous sportscaster. unlike some of the current crop-bob costas-ugh.

I have no idea who he is. Although I do know how the current cast of sports broadcasters would make this guy look like Plato.
