![]() The man who carried me to LAD and introduced me to horse racing, his favorite jockey was EJ, so naturally he became my favorite jockey also. To see EJ bring a 10 or 20-1 horse from the clouds and win a turf route was truly a thing of beauty. Sad to see him go so soon.

EJ was fan favorite every year signing autographs & taking pictures with folks on Super Derby Day. Hope LaD leaders name La-bred turf race in his memory. RIP our friend...
