This is really getting weird in Republicanland. Tonight Drudge Report published deliberate massive headline teasers about Condi Rice being chosen for VP, in an attempt to draw media attention from the Bain lying thing. The Romney campaign released a nasty, nasty ad this morning. Between the NAACP and the ad, they are praying for the media to be distracted and to let this Bain/FEC lie thing go. Instead, the media has grabbed onto it, found verifiable crap in the past week, and now everyone is searching through Romney's past. Boston Globe told Romney campaign to go fly a kite today, when the campaign demanded a retraction. Even the GOP is starting to turn on Romney late this afternoon.
