you know, most of the time i hope horses stay in training for a long time, so as to enjoy watching them run.
yeah, not feeling it here. i wouldn't mind if he retired hansen tomorrow, just so he'd go away too.
wtf does it matter what people think?

as for what he said about smith-why would a jock speed up/slow down in a race? that made no sense at all.

hey, doc, what do i think? i think you need to stfu. let the horse do any talking. he's like the jerry jones of the horse world.

He basically sounded like he was trying to say that the Russian Mafia bet against Hansen on Betfair.

In the good old days -- the sore losers would be the bettors and they would have to write the owners and trainers letters by pen.

Someone should troll the comment section of that blog.

Martin is from Louisiana, so he must be a crooked jockey. I'm surprised that Hansen didn't mention that. From now on, any jockey that rides his horse in a manner that takes away a heavy fav's tactical advantage should be banned.

he just seems unable to accept that his horse lost, and that jockeys can't work miracles.
do jocks race ride? sure. do they sometimes use up their horse just to mess up someone else's? yep. maybe the other owner/russian mafia supporter does't like annoying owners.

The part in bold is just stupid. Don't you know by now that Zenyatta is the only horse that can talk? And dance?

Isn't a heavy favorite always the target of any decent jockey? Unless, of course, they are riding for 2nd or worse.

Did anyone on Team Hansen see Hero of Order win Louisiana Derby? Exact same tactic -- track leader and attempt to wear him down before wire. This time HOO ran out of gas.

Didn't Eddie Martin make a middle move and try to press - he was way wide though, in the Blue Grass. You could argue that softened Hansen as well...foolish arguments from the Dr.
