SUN - Spot Plays (2yo Turf - BEL R1, WO R2, & Arlington R4)
Belmont
R1 - MSW 69k (Turf 2yo 6F) #5 Piceance (12-1) - There's no secret, I'm a huge fan of Speightstown's runners on the turf. Draws well for debut and is in good hands #8 Sayaad (8-5) - Got caught up in a speed duel in latest and Castro will have to make a decision to send or stalk. WON $4.00 #1 Our Kashmir (8-1) - Will have to come out running from inside draw and the bullet in latest work indicates he can. #3 Upswell (8-1) - Expecting a wake up on the switch to the lawn. Tri P/W - 5 8 / 5 8 / 1 3 4 7 Tri P/W - 5 8 / 1 3 4 7 / 5 8 Win - #5 Woodbine OFF TURF R2 - MSW 67k (Turf 2yo 8F) #12 Elite Warrior (12-1) - Steady string of works for sharp barn for unveiling and will have plenty of time to cross over into a good position with the long run to the turn. #10 Tex (5-2) - Pressed a sharp pace last out and held on for second. Makes 3rd career start and switches to the lawn. 4TH #1 Star Contender (2-1) - Casse (20%) thought enough of him to enter him in restricted stakes race at first asking and finishing a distant third in a field of ten is no disgrace. Expect low odds. WON $5.10 #6 Drenched (6-1) - Carroll has two entered in this event, but this one looks to have the better chance off some nice works and a better post. Win - #12 Ex and Tri Key & Box - 12 / 1 6 10 Arlington Park R4 - MSW 40k (Turf 2yo 8.5F) #2 Quelch (8-1) - Broke towards the grandstand from outside draw in debut and made a nice run late to finish fourth. Better post - right price. 3RD #6 Mughaadir (4-1) - Shadwell homebred improve when switched to the infield and be coming late again. 2ND #1 Mardochai (10-1) - Fired a bullet on Thursday in preparation for today's debut for sharp turf conditioner. 4TH #10 Lifes Reward (5-2) - Game third in debut up the rail, but must deal with outside draw today. Win - #2 Tri Box - 1 2 6 10 Good Racing Luck
