![]() john stewart had a bit on his show last night about romney, with bits thrown in about his republican 'competition' for the nomination. it was hilarious.
but really, it's not that funny. it's scary in some ways, that people would rather vote for a guy like santorum, or akin-because they are party-line voters. two peas in a pod, santorum and akin. and akin didn't 'mis-speak'. he's had his loony views on rape for years. just another example of how the republican party is self-destructing. " hope freedom-loving Americans in Missouri and around the country will join us " that's hilarious.

![]() jonathan collegio who is communications director for american crossroads was on local radio this morning talking about republican prospects for the senate.
while predictably dismissive of polls showing democratic gains in many of the races, he described missouri as a lost cause. he states there is no serious money going into akin's campaign, confirmed that american crossroads has written it off, and states the next 6 weeks will be a solid wall of democratic advertising in missouri with no counter from akin. |

![]() More good news for that idiot Akin today, someone came up with an old tape of the good Senator telling a donor that if they wanted his attention, they'd have to write him a big check.
