![]() Just when you thought there'd be no more NYRA-bashing stories out there, there's this one:
http://www.timesunion.com/local/arti...ow-3897561.php I wonder if Dutrow is going to be pictured? Got a feeling Joe Drape from the NY Times isn't going to be. |

![]() Not looking for any response; just thought it ironic that, in spite of all that's going on with NYRA, the powers that be there saw fit to commission a mural glorifying themselves at a cost of $250,000.
Regarding Leroy Neiman, I note that he passed away around three months ago at the ripe old age of 91. |

Like I said, stick to the multi board redboard...much more effective. |

![]() Two years ago? Really? That would be Sept., 2010, right at the time that the incorrect commission fiasco took place.
Glad I'm not a conspiracy theorist (just a redboarder!). Over and out; returning control of this thread to the viewers at home. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() The Del Mar picture looks real nice -- but I don't even know who more than half of those people are.
It would be neat to see such a picture for a track like Belmont Park which has such a long and storied history... but most of the wrong people would certainly be on it. No offensive to Rick Violette Jr. -- who I liked a lot as a fairly low-profile trainer in the late 90's -- but I don't think he'd make the cut for the top 10,000 figures in the history of that track. |
