I wanted to wish everyone a joyful holiday season and a happy and prosperous New Year, since I'm leaving to Florida on Thursday. A family vacation awaits on Ormond Beach (near Daytona Beach) with the initial trip to Disney sandwiched in. I have already received clearance to attend Daytona Beach Kennel Club on December 26th (Malibu Day at SA). I'll be back for the action on New Year's day which features the Gulfstream Park Derby for newly turned (3) year olds along with the G3 Old Hat, Spectacular Bid, and Ginger Brew. My next trip will to the Sunshine State will be more horse playing related as I plan on making Donn Day at GP on February 9th, which hopefully will feature Animal Kingdom in the G1 Gulfstream Park Turf. An interesting and challenging PK4 to start the week at Gulfstream Park. In addition, El Padrino returns in Race 4 as the heavy chalk.

#2 Summit County (5-2) - Draws well and brings some back class (Singleton). WON $4.40
#6 Hoofing Cat (20-1) - Has burned money in last two and capable of taking to the grass at a huge price.
#9 Jump for Kitten (6-1) - Stablemate proved better in El Joven, but must be considered nonetheless. 3RD
#4 Made in U.S.A. (5-1) - Benefited from a perfect trip in last and hopes for similar trip. 2ND
