Seems fashionable to try and countermand Flashback aura, but hard to argue with first pair of efforts and ongoing praise for morning machinations. Same can be said for Goldencents whose lone miscue remains the applaudable Champagne try. Unless these two link up in foolhardy duel, hard to gleefully embrace the other options..

Good luck today Steve. Like everyone else it seems, I think Lezcano is sitting on multiple turf winners today. ML on them seems unlikely.

This is an ugly bunch including low-priced 2nd and 3rd choices at 7-2 that are 0/45 between them. Our Secret Booty making his 2nd career start, regularly the biggest jump up scenario in racing. Pair of 5f works since debut and got favorable impression from Andy Harrington in last drill: Rallied away from a barnmate looking one paced while going in a galloping tempo in 37.4, 102.4 out in 116.1. Improved spin; should like the added real estate.---Grade: B-

Basically, given that it's a group of suspects, it's a good place to take shots and include some that have yet to prove utterly hopeless..
