Default dmr race 7 friday night

No holds barred steel cage match at the start is okay? I know there is always contact but the 4 eliminated 20 percent of the field and made for a dangerous situation for the other jocks. Ca stewards obviously view the first 100 yards of the race differently then the final 100 yards. I know this isn't just ca but come on how much contact is allowable at the start?

if they started taking down gate fouls the numbers would be flashing all night.
What's more fun than yelling OHHHHH, when the numbers have been flashing awhile on an objection or Inquiry. Everyone looks up, but they're still flashing. It is hilarious.

that's the deal the stewards looked at it the numbers blinked and they basically said that's cool post it...the NFL still calls penalties in the first quarter...in the stretch a mere hint of contact or Even no contact but the threat of contact will get ya bounced but in the first 100 yards it's an allowable clusterf*** and its unfortunate for the connections and bettors involved with the 2 and 3 whose race ended 1 second from the gate....furthering things is the fact you have multiple entries from the same owner...not saying conspiracy or anything but in a big money race...one entry helping the other entry even accidentally isn't 100 percent kosher...just bad racing luck I know

This was a terrible, terrible call. It is impossible to know what affect gate interference has therefore in a case such as this the horse wiping out the others should be taken down and placed behind all the horses he interfered with. Sky Beauty was DQ'ed for wiping out a long priced Suffolk shipper in the Spinaway and while it was painful, the call the NYRA stewards made that day was the correct one. The idea that fouls early in the race arent as "impactful" as ones later in the race is immaterial and wrong. While a certain amount of jostling is allowed out of the gate especially in 2 yo races, this went far beyond that
