Steve,
I did not hear the show, butdid any discussion come up with Jon White on the horrible non DQ in the 6th race @ Santa Anita last Saturday? Imo with that non call the stewards are saying you have to put a jockey over the rail i you want a change!

We were going to, but then the carryover conversation started and we ran out of time. There needed to be a double DQ there. Agree non-call sends a bad message.

Are you talking about the no call on Friday, which was bad also? The one Saturday involved the 1st and 2nd places and the were pretty clear of the rest, unless I missed something happening behind them.

No.. Was thinking of Sunday's 1st. Saturday seemed 65-35 for a DQ to me but I wasn't shocked they left the result alone.

I thought Sunday was more stunning. They leave 5-1-6-4 when it should have been reworked into 6-5-4-1. The 5 fouled the 6 (which affected the 1-4 too) while the 1 had fouled the 4 even before the incident with the winner. It was a mess and they did nothing: http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...ctober-13-2013

Yea, just watched that and the winner should have come down for sure. They watched the replay forever and did nothing. Its like a rodeo out there. And these are the same Clowns that are going to be judging the Breeders Cup!!
