Hey Steve what happened to that Mott horse from last winter. He was a Street Cry or Street Sense older horse who was transferred to Mott. He won a race or 2 at Gulfstream and was really impressive. I believe he was pointing to the handicap race on Derby or Oaks day, maybe he even made that race??? But has no raced since at least last May. I think Rashard Lewis owns a piece of him.

Huh, Risky Rachel won a stakes the same week her dam passes at Old Friends. It's been a rough month for them, but kind of poetic that her daughter does Dancin Renee proud when she did. Obviously the mare had no idea, but she hadn't run since 2012 due to a tendon injury so the timing was interesting. As we sometimes do with horses though, you can romanticize it to think that she 'did it for mom.'
