Columbia, Maryland Mall Shooting - 3 Dead

I felt compelled to start this thread because this is my local mall. We were driving west on Maryland Rt. 32 yesterday morning and saw a line of fire trucks and ambulances rushing east on Rt.32 which would be the direction towards Columbia Mall.

Three young people dead; a beautiful young girl and young man who were engaged. They worked together at one of the stores in the mall. Appears that the shooter was her ex-boyfriend. He took his own life. Five other people were injured, one shot in the foot and all doing ok.

The shooter lay dead, unidentified, for a several hours in the mall because he had other weapons/ammo/explosive devices next to his body.

My heart goes out to the families of these young people. How can they really ever get past something like this?

As for it being 'my' mall.......no fear, no how can this happen here thoughts. I'm just extremely sad.
