... in 1983

i saw the story late yesterday evening...
also, tony and i watched a show the other day about a crime scene investigator who planted evidence in two separate investigations. also had a story about a coerced confession. glad tony saw it-that way he has corroboration to go along with me telling him stories like this. so sad those two guys spent so much time in jail--and it's shocking to me that a similar attack and murder occurred within the month of the one they were accused of committing, and no one thought 'hey?'?? imo, i think some of the police are similar to abramoff, the lobbyist. they just know they're right, just like he knew he was ethical. therefore, whatever he did in his opinion was ethical. the investigator-he said he did nothing wrong, that he would never try to frame an innocent man...but that was is problem, he knew they were guilty-and he was going to make sure the evidence fit.

Just read that brown requested they test the cig. Butt back in 2006. It took eight more years to do so?!

Kudos to the DA office for safe keeping a cigarette butt for over 20 years in a manner DNA was still able to be obtained.
