Seek Again was bottled in the stretch and could have came second with a better trip.

Hard to argue...but I will.
In this case, I think Rosario is to blame...I firmly believe that he was of the opinion that he had to save as much ground as possible to beat Wise Dan...So he refused to move from the rail despite having a chance to get outside. The horse was moving in stride with Wise Dan down the stretch...Not saying he would have won but who knows. Rosario was chilly this weekend at Keeneland. No wins through the first two days and only two wins through three days. He had some live mounts too. A bit uncharacteristic for him. |
