Default THE ONE FRIGGIN time...

I need to be smooth, I falter. I am smooth 5256599 minutes a year and it just had to happen that I wasn't smooth THE ONE MINUTE I NEED TO BE.

I took this girl I know at work out to lunch again today, 2nd time. we yap all day about stuff via email, she is smokin hot. At the end of lunch, she states...

"Would you be doing this if I was a boy?"

"afjkla;sdfklasdfjas;fdlskasf;akdfj;alsjtiower nvla;nvla;fdkl;a" was my response

I felt like I just smoked a dubbie and had crazy cotton mouth and couldn't get anything out. Couldn't think of a response to save the life of me

Then she goes, "You wouldn't"

BUSTED!!!!

arggghhhhhhh

You should have said "Of course, I'm bi!" just to stump the smart ass.

This would have been a GREAT comeback, but it is hard for me to say Bi or gay, not a homophob but I just don't use the words often

Were you not giving off the "i wanna jump your bones" vibe Scav? Why would she ask you this question? OF COURSE YOU WERE TAKING HER OUT TO LUNCH FOR A REASON. Is the girl an airhead?

I got the feeling she was saying it in more of a flirtious vibe....have to be careful when you involve work and relationships

i guess that was her 'beat around the bush' way of asking if you're interested in her. i hate when people beat around the bush...er, when they're talking that is.

If she is "booked solid" for the next few.... I would say she's not interested. That's a girls way of keeping you away and hoping you forget about her. Of course, her age and intelligence usually tells you whether or not she's playing games. Youngins' like game playing. Mature adults lay it out on the table, are honest and don't "beat around the bush". Unless you like game playing, you should forget about this one and move on to the next one that appreciates the attention you give her.

Scav,

There is an entire chapter of the Sent2Stud book titled, "Wine, Women and Wagering," devoted to the topic of what to say when asked a stumper question.

The response is this,

"I was hoping you'd ask me something like that."

You can bet your absolute last dime she will respond, "Why?"

Your response is this,

"I'll tell you later."

This has never failed.

next time you call the professional (me) about this matter...just make sure I am not at the OTB, so I can listen more intently.
