Incredible Recovery
You should see this video!!
It happened in a race here in Brazil (at Gavea, Rio de Janeiro's race track) a couple of weeks ago....its amazing! An absolutely wonderful demontration of jockey skills! The jockey is called Marcelo Cardoso, and the horse Arte Concreta.... Itīs the horse #1...the one who takes the lead from the beggining. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYPXlmOnhxY This is why I love horse racing! |

That jock did an unreal job to stay on. He probably knew if he went down 9 others were running right over top of him. I bet he was numb for the rest of the card.

I agree with you! Absolutely unreal...
This happened on a monday night. This 4yo horse has 3 wins, 5 second places and a third place (in 9 starts). After this win, the horse won again on then turf and the got 2nd place on a listed stakes. Last edited by fmc123412 : 10-13-2006 at 02:36 PM. |

Yeah that was nuts! He's either got more heart and guts than most others (the horse), or he was by far the class of this field, and showed it by coming back... mayeb a lil of both. Thanks for the vid

WOW... I just had a chance to watch the video...that was impressive, but a scary way to get to the winner's circle.
