Continue to be surprised that some were unaware of Zayat's heritage. The whole story of the delight with the #18 (chai) draw for Derby was focused on its' positive attributes for good luck in Judaic numerology.. Any number of examples of Zayat's Orthodoxy has come up over the years.

I know an article i read after the derby said they stayed in an rv at churchill, because they are not to drive on the sabbath. I thought it was known by everyone from him being around the sport that he was jewish.
egypt had been a welcoming country regarding religions, and had a large christian population. I think thats changed in the last ddcades, but historically thats been the case.

So?
His religion and his gambling is his business. And arent we all gamblers here, albeit with a lower budget?

Didn't mean it as a criticism, just an observation. As a goy, I've got no horse in that race.
