Default Regular and Fast or Gentle and Slow?

I just went to do some laundry and had to adjust the setting on the washing machine. I'm not very esoteric(that would be an understatement of gigantic proportions) but it inspired me to start this thread in the spirit of the fine My Miss Storm Cat threads that appear here.
So which do you folks prefer? Regular and Fast or Gentle and Slow? Or do you like to do a load both ways?

Talking I gotta say......

Since I've been married (5 years this December 18th), laundry to me has evolved into something quite special. I would have to describe it from perhaps the point of view of an immigrant landing at the Statue of Liberty. A FOREIGN CONCEPT! See now, doesn't that sound very special guys! LOL

I like to wash the "load (oh ****)" whichever way works best for the type of "clothing (um man)" and anyway that I can "wash (ah ride)" it depending upon the mood that I'm in...SHOCKER

It's always nice when you can get it done any way you want at home.

I'd be happy for any kind of load right now! It's been way too long, dammit!
