is there a problem at keeneland?
With 3 graded winners suffering fatal breakdown in the past 24 hours is this an issue of bad luck or is something else happening here?

I want to say it was just a very bad day and none of the injuries can be linked together. I think I saw that Easter also came back from the First Lady S with a fracture. Maybe mixtures of off track, long campaigns and just plain bad luck. My heart breaks for those who had an empty stall in the barn this weekend.

Rock Fall is the 3rd fatality at Keeneland this fall, very sad, and with The Breeders Cup 3 weeks away, Is something wrong in Lexington?

And the mare who had the fracture. Easter I think it was.
Lopresti says it's safe. I'd assume he'd know, but man it's a lot of bodies piling up. If this was nyra people would be calling for shutting it down. |

Didn't Casse say one of his runners came out of a race injured on the show the other day also?

Very sorry to hear about Rock Fall, who clearly had issues in the past. I gained a lot of respect for him in his final two races, two really gutsy wins in big spots. |

There is no conceivable way that there are as many tracks operating in 15 years. It is far too easy to rally people against it with statistics like this.
And I don't believe that's a good thing, for the record. |
