I am playing that Classic exacta. I am also playing Bernardini on top of Giacomo. The grey guy likes Churchill, too. I agree on the Distaff. Is George Washington in the Mile????

I hope GW runs, even thought too soon to say any thing about whoes going where, but I like to take a crack at it !!
I forgot about Giacimo, I wonder if late runners will benifit from this years Classic or the top three LM, Invasor, B'dini are too good for the rest??

Im not an exotics player in the form of exactas, tris, or anything else.
I play w/p and pick 4s.
so what I say in this area may be completely worthless.
but if I had to play one exacta for the entire day, as of now, it would be Bernardini/David Junior boxed.
they seem like the 2 most logical 1-2 finishers of the entire day.

yeah,
no value.
well, it will pay something if DJ comes in, but its not something I am going to invest in.
like I said, I simply dont play exactas, tris, or supers.

lol, awesome sticker. I hope she does run. would be a lot of fun to watch her humiliate herself over the course of an entire campaign.

all is well, back in TX now.
hope all is ok for you.
you are still in Chicago right?
sucks that the IL Horseman's association could work something out with TVG.
I still watch The Thorne on HRTV, but I wish it was on TVG.
is there any talk of it around the track?

I plan on putting $50 WP on Happy Ticket and although many are disagreeing, I think that Perfect Drift has got a good shot to win the BCC.

Most here see Hawthorne and laugh. Haven't made a wager there all year. Splitting time between Chi. and Lake Geneva as that's where the G/F and kids live. Saw a black bear this w/e up north though. Can't hunt though as I'd rather kill a human than an animal.

Too early for me to make predictions..
I assume Steve or the mods here will make a STICKY thread for each of the BC races, where everyone can share there thoughts and predictions. At least that will be an easy way to keep things organized.

As long as Pegasus Wind gets a reasonable post, he'll finish ITM in the Juvenile.

I hope he's in the starting gate, he'll set a nice pace for CQ to run down.

Pegasus Wind is a nice big horse. Got caught by scat in his last only because of the huge stretch at belmont. He would of the caught the wire in front at any other track that day. Shorter stretch and getting his own way on the front again and hes no worse then second.

I predict I'll drink a bunch of beer/juleps. I'll reserve much comments on the race outcomes until I see the full pp's on Wednesday before.

good call.

i predict i will be wildly hungover from too many hours of open bar at a wedding reception the night before.

i also predict me not caring, and going to arlington trackside to make my bets at 10 am, and then getting drunk again at my hotel while i watch it.

Churchill's stretch is much longer than Belmont's, and the Juvy is around two turns also.

And talking about stretch lengths, the inner dirt stretch at Aqueduct is longer than the main track. Doesn't make sense, but it is true.

with these full fields and the post psitions some will draw, the best horse dosent always win. Trip, pace, and luck will put at least one double diget odd horse in the winners circle. Finding a loose on the lead, uncontested lead winner can lead to a bomb. Bad break out of the gate. Traffic problems. Pace melt down. Something as simple as a horse running the race of his or her life.

Those are good picks, but George Washington is running in the Classic. I like Cacique over EC, and CQ to beat Scat Daddy. Fleet Indian would be my Distaff choice. I like all your other picks though.

surprised that premium taps people have decided to enter....i guess no news from suave means he won't be there.

if there speed entered, than i would use giacomo and/or perfect drift underneath. huge question mark on geo washington and david junior. DJ is the real deal, but dirt is the HUGE question mark.

i'll be pulling for pine island.
as for the juvies, i doubt point ashley is going. don't really care who wins either one.
i am looking forward to the day as a whole. only horse i really plan to 'root for' is pine island. all the others i'll just watch and enjoy the best take on each other.
