How does the Brown horse run like a cripple in the 3rd?

How can a long-term mediocre trainer like Wilkes just come in and win easily at Toga with a rented mule?

Why do gamblers have to constantly deal with short fields and wal-mart trainers running overbet cripples and your only option is the slapdick invader who sucked up for a 2nd beaten by 11+ lengths last out?

Is the sport this dead?

2nd choice both legs but it's really chalk when you're talking about a total of 11 in both.

3 is a winner if it's a field of 9.
