I badly need the Bears to win the Super Bowl now. The Cardinals torment is going hang for a few months at least.

Weaver with the Dodgers-subpar

Weaver with the Halos-God awful

Weaver with the Cards-at 1st-God awful(I remember baby Weaver-during pregame in Anaheim, having his brother's start against the Braves be put on the jumbotron.)THE Braves ran Weaver off the reservation, and won like 17-5 or something in St. Louis.Wow,did the pitching coach in St.Louis earn his money after this,or what??? Talk about a good pitching coach...damn(friggin' alchemist.)

Makes you wonder about the approach used by SoCal teams with their pitching stock! Props to the Cards who avoided seasonal collapse and did the little things(Eck) that cemented every win over Tigers!

Guys... remember Weaver has shown signs of Brilliance. He did in Detroit, and that's how he ended up in the Bronx. But like Kenny Rogers, the Bronx wasn't the place for him.

That first year in L.A. (w/ the Dodgers I mean) he was actually pretty good. It seems like he's an "every other year" pitcher. I was actually mad that he pitched well in the Playoffs/World Series, because he'd be a big-time sleeper for next year. Now that he's pitched well, everyone is gonna be on his nuts. Not like his brother, but he'll be on people's radar now.

I just can't wait for fantasy baseball next year when people draft "J. Weaver", they think that they're getting Jared, when they're really getting Jeff lol. OH DAMN! Na... next year he'll win 15 games and strike out over 150 barring health problems. I'll start taking bets anytime...

No,he was never "pretty good" for the Dodgers. He was always inconsistent, and unreliable.During the 1st couple of innings of day games,he was simply shelled.Because of guys like this, the Dodgers traded Lo Duca for what was supposed to be a good starter(Penney.)I don't know where this guy who did the Fox Broadcast of the Dodgers playoff games this year(Brenaman?) got this fictional tripe he was spewing from his mouth. He said the Dodgers were one of the top couple teams in the league(at the time of that trade.)What a complete joke that guy is.We really traded Lo Duca when we were one of the best teams in the league? We had close to no good reliable starting pitching, and that's why that trade was made.Beltre carried that team on his back despite the sht starters.Penney got hurt soon after we got him that year.It remains a miracle that the Dodgers won that division with virtually no starting pitching in the final weeks of the '94 season. It really was simply a dominating performance by one leader(Adrian Beltre)that will never be matched.

True story....am eagerly awaiting movements of players...most of them in Dec and Jan. Now if we could just get Fox to do Something with their lead team...that would be great! I think that there will be alot of action this offseason.
