That explains why he labored in deep stretch during his last workout. (Unless if it occured after it)

And I was wrong thinking there were other reasons for the Keeneland works.

More than anything else it would have made the race even more unpredictable with Commentator running. Too bad.

Tracy Farmer's Commentator, a contender for the TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I), was withdrawn from the race Monday, Oct. 30, due to an injury.
Breeders' Cup officials said they were notified the 5-year-old gelding had re-injured his left shin.

The above is from Bloodhorse--the shin problem again. This makes Pomeroy my only w/p play in the Sprint. I can live with that.

It is not so much fragile, but what running a -5 TG number does to a horse. Can you say Bellamy Road anyone? Same scenario except Zito really didn't rush this one back, per say....
