For the second week in a row there was only one winner and a whole lot of torn up
tickets but at least virtual tickets don't have to be swept up. I know. I know. Almosts
don't count but Plenilune gave this weeks winner a run for his money when Markitoff
finished a nose behind big favorite Bricks and Mortar at 62-1. All I can say is "nice
play" Jane. You almost found a gem. Cruzan is this weeks winner and he cashed
not one but two tickets and it gave him the win in the ROI. Cruzan waited until race
12 to log his first cash on 18-1 Sweet Diane and that would have been enough for
the win but he sealed the deal by also cashing a ticket on Spinoff in the Louisiana
Derby. Nicely done Cruzan. You do find a lot of gems that most of us overlook.
