ROI Results 8/29 @ Saratoga
We visited Saratoga 6 times in 2020 and saved the best for last. Well at least some of us had
a best. And I gather some of us are glad it's over. To me it just didn't have the excitement of previous years. Anyway 5 tickets were cashed with two players hitting the cashiers window twice. Joly B cashed the biggest ticket, a $60 quinnela but could only walk away with a 3rd place finish and a $20 profit. Ruffian and Cruzan battled it out for the top spot with 2 double digit winners each. Cruzan had a little more on each of his winners and also cashed a bigger ticket and wound up with an easy win. Ruffian and Cruzan matched winners in race 1 as Grey Jazmine took the opener and paid a solid $35.80. Cruzan nailed an even bigger winner in race 3 as Bye Bye Melvin waved our contestants bye bye with a whopping $41.00 mutuel. Ruff had a few chances to make a run and hit a $16.20 winner in race 8 but it was too little, too late. Congrats to Cruzan on a big win and our highest return on the year. Nicely played Cruz and thanks for sharing your stategy. In my case you can teach an old dog new tricks and I'm sure I'll have this game mastered by 2050. Not that it's going to help me a whole lot, but I think I had a winner in Race 7. I played a $10 exacta 2,3//1 which should have given me a return of $66 or did I exceed the limit or commit some other infraction of the rules?
