ROI Results 9/5 @ Churchill
The 2020 Kentucky Derby is in the rear view mirror and after a 4 month delay it was an
exciting day of racing with more than a few surprises. For most the wagering aspect left a lot to be desired and those minus $200 days hurt. Only two players hit the cashiers window and only one player showed a profit. Indian Hemp cashed a ticket in race 9 good for $78. Real Quiet gets the win and the points with an $80 win bet on Authentic in the Derby. Following are the unofficial results pending any corrections. If I missed anything especially on Thousand Words let me know. The next biggie will be the Preakness? In October. What a year. See you next week. WIN... Real Quiet... +$597.00... R 14 $80 Win 18 $18.80 X 40... $752.00 Indian Hemp -$89.00 race 9 $20 Win 9 $7.80 X 10... $78.00 Joly B -$192.00 Don Guido -$196.00 Roamin -$200.00 Cruzan -$200.00 Ruffian -$200.00 Cal828 -$200.00

You're right about those $200 days hurting, but I am still optimistic about the possibility of digging out of whatever hole most of us are in. Maybe being foolish about that and I certainly understand the frustration, but for some reason I think these little exercises we do every week are helping, although there is little evidence of that. Looking forward to the Preakness and BC and everything in between now and then. We will prevail in the end. So much for the locker room pick me up. I'll shut up now. I know everyone will heave a sigh of relief not to have to listen to my Pollyanna-ish disertation anymore.
