I agree. He definately does not have the running style to win the Derby. If he is that far back in the Derby there is no way he passes 18 or 19 horses. But he loves Churchill, should get better and if they can get more speed in him then he could be dangerous. I really really LOVE Chace City.

Florida bred that is yet to step up and take on the big boys. I think he'll be a good one but he has a lot to prove although he's won twice over a mile already.

Did not read it but it is true. Major problem. I'll see if it is ok to say without putting anyone in a bad spot.

Colts I suppose you mean:

1) Street Sense
2) Scat Daddy
3) Nobiz Like Shobiz
4) Tiz Wonderful

...have been the most impressive to me to this point....tough to say, as I still think many of the better horses of this generation probably have yet to run....certainly, Minefield and Napa Cat and some other allowance types to this point have a lot of talent....I still think some forgotten horses who are hurt like Run Alex Run are very talented too...Great Hunter is the only colt on the West coast that I think is genuine so far...

You know, I think Tiz Wonderful is a talented horse. He will prob be better than a couple in my top 4. But right now, I would have to leave him out. Nobiz Like Shobiz just hasnt shown me enough yet. But those two have great potential. Prob more so that Quay and Greeley.

Its so early to tell which are genuine at this point...sveral will fizzle out and several will maure into better, abd then even more will surface in a few months as 3-year-olds....beware or Darley's expensive babies, as I hear they are LOADED for the Gulfstream meet with their best 2-year-old maidens....

Hell, Bernie Flint's colt is a helluva runner...the Unbridled Express horse....his problem is that he is an Unbridled's Song - thus he has major soundness issues...But he can REALLY run....

1.) Scat Daddy
2.) Street Sense
3.) Chace City
4.) Tiz Wonderful

Crazy as it sounds, I still think Unbridled Express is your 2007 Kentucky Derby winner.

I love your #1 .....and you certainly have a colt with plenty of talent if you like Unbridled Express to win the Derby because that horse trains like a freight train in the mornings ta CD - but I think he is pretty unsound...

Probably so... most of the Unbridled Song's are, albeit extremely talented. Do you know if he's crooked? If they play their cards right and keep him sound, you never know...

Street Sense
No Biz Like Shobiz
Great Hunter
Circular Quay/Scat Daddy (Since one of them will get hurt)

Honorable Mention: C P West

That's my top four too. I guess that great minds think alike. LOL.

Of course, I would put Scat Daddy in the number 4 spot, and move Nobiz Like Showbiz and Tiz Wonderful up after his performance in the BC Juvy. Still, I think that Scat Daddy is a little bit better animal than he showed in that race. I'm not sure if he is going to love added distance though.

I also still like CP West (not giving up on this guy yet), Day Pass, and a colt named Westwon in addtion to the others that you mentioned. I'm missing some...maybe I willl think of them later.

But my favorite two year old right now is Zada Belle. That filly is going to go on to do GREAT things. I'm a huge fan already. LOVE HER!

I also love a filly named Successful Outlook (Orientate). I think that she is that Asmussen filly that I have mentioned before.

I haven't been looking that closely at the 2 yr olds yet, but from what I have seen, I really like Great Hunter. I am looking forward to seeing if this horse can improve next year.

P.S. I also like Dreaming of Anna. She is going to make Gorella work next year.

And does anyone else think Octave looks like another filly that I am known to love...

Buffy, I like Great Hunter too... I'm just wondering how much this colt will actually improve. He's been so consistent all season that it makes you wonder if he'll be able to have that jump from this year to next year as a 3 year old. He's definitely paid for himself, that's for sure... I think he was a $30k KEE Sept '05 colt. I like to see ones like him do well.

Teuflesberg is another colt that's got great action IMO. I doubt he'll be a legit derby contender, but I think he'll improve next year as a 3 year old. He moves great.
