Default Stem Cells

Stem cell research took a step forward in the treatment of muscular dystrophy.
I found this to be interesting.

DTS: that was interesting! Something akin to that procedure that takes blood out and puts new(refreshed) blood back in...can't think of the name of it now. I had a cat with feline leukemia and a Corgi with cancer...but didn't know animals could get these types of diseases too! BUMMER

Timm,
I'm glad you liked the article.
Yes, unfortunately, many critters share similar diseases with humans.
That's why we test on them.
Did you see the story about neanderthals and their common dna to ours?
I'll do a search and post a link. I read a lot today as it's been crazy raining and very windy here. Cabin fever in November! Can't wait to see what I'll be like come April.

LOL!
Actually grooming is not the issue with me, and the neighbors have been ok, even though one of my trees almost took out their house.
Anyway, here's the neanderthal article...

I've talked with others on this board about "evolution". I hope Skippy sees this and Pgardn weighs in also.

I've been down this road before....2 things...1)they haven't found the missing link because there isn't one!...2) this explains why the "Cubbies" have done so poorly.
