ROI Results 5/1 @ Churchill
Another year and another Derby winner and the yearly question, "Can he win the Triple Crown"?
Well, Medina Spirit is the only one who can answer that question among the many who dream the dream. Three of our players showed a profit on the two day Churchill affair with Don chipping in a winner but falling a bit short of profitability. The red hot filly Plenilune takes the show spot by picking winners in the 4th and 14th races. Plen got back $525 and a nice profit of $325 on the Derby Day afternoon. Ruffian takes the number two spot with her double digit winner Supremacy in the days 13th race. Supremacy paid $29.40 and almost made Ruffalo the supreme winner on the day. Almost. Cal gets the Churchill win by sweeping all of his wagers. After hitting a nice exacta in race 8 Cal went the daily double route in races 11 and 12 and nailed them all. The four payouts were worth over $760 and the win. Congrats Cal. Nicely played and a really nice double array. For most of the rest of us those double stake days are brutal if you don't cash a ticket. Real Quiet, Roamin and Digger all sank into a negative ROI for the season. Cal however jumped back to profitability and takes over the number two spot. Plenilune continues to pick a lot of winners and has about a $1500 lead on the field. Following are the unofficial results pending any objections. Hopefully I got some of it right but if not my eraser is at the ready to do what erasers do best. Erase and correct. Does anybody even use erasers anymore? See you all next week. WIN... Cal828... +$560.60... You really have to go some to beat these gals when they are "on fire." I feel very fortunate that they didn't give me a whoopin like they did everyone else. Just joking ladies!! I feel confident my whoopin is likely on its way in the near future. kudos on your play.

RQ. Yes, I use up the erasers of my many pencils playing these contests and checking our monthly living expenses most every day. Not sure which wears the erasers out more.
Great job Cal. Very astute wagers, excellent.
