Default Why This Sport is Dying

Need a little help here. I want to reach out to my ADW (twinspires) and ask for money back on all bets alive to the 1 horse in the last race. It was the only bet I hit all day and had multiple multi races wagers running through him, including the Juvy turf/Turf Double, a Pick 4 and 5). I understand those bets weren't paying a ton but there is some principle here.

I've never felt cheated before while playing the horses. Frustrate and pissed off, for sure. Today I feel cheated. Big time. Wondering if I'm out of line to feel this way or if it's time to start holding the industry accountable. Not sure how we do that though.

You won’t get them back. It’s completely archaic but it’s the rules. It cost me the pick 5 for 4 dollars…. Just an absolutely brutal beat.

One of the biggest pari-mutuel clusterforks I have ever seen. I am trying to think of something worse, but can't. And I have been following racing since 1984.

If you going to play horizontals, you probably should understand what the rules are.

To add injury to insult, I put my bets for today through last night (kids, sports, chaos didn't think I'd have much time to get them in today) and wanted to make a few changes. Twinspires is telling me that I can't change my bets because the advanced wagering is closed even though the races have not been run. Maybe this is an error on my part for not knowing the rules, but this seems like a simple fix.

I can deal with bad bets, bad rides, bad trips, bad luck, but bad business (customer service) is something I really struggle with. No other industry tells its customer to F@#! off more than horse racing (maybe the airlines). I'm having a hard time rationalizing why I even bother.

Don't be a shithead. I understand the rules just fine. The rules are the problem and that's what we are talking about. Changing bad rules.

There is always one asshat in every thread. I agree, I’ve never seen a bigger cluster. It’s just more things that drive people away and to other forms of gambling. Only thing you can bet on that you can have the thing you bet to happen, happen….. and you still lose.

If the industry cares at all about the group of people that fund their sport they’ll figure out a way to get some money back into our pockets. That won’t happen tho and this is totally unacceptable. It’s be like flopping black jack and the dealer saying the Ace doesn’t count because there was a crease in it. I’m going to sit out tomorrow after today (probably not).

Worst gambling beat I have ever had in my life. I’m going to drink away my sadness.

Cost me the Pick 6 and the Pick 5. I’m so fuc1<ing sick to my stomach Right now I’m not even turning it on tomorrow. Just when you think you’ve seen every conceivable way these literal retards can find a way to fucl< bettors they wait till the biggest weekend of the year to show off their latest
