No problem at all. I do my best to post something every day in the "celeb matches"...some verified, and when I can't find a good story, well, I make one up, just like any good "tabloid" reporter. I also do a "joke of the day". Some folks enjoy them. Go to "esoteric" and have a look. |

Richards actually seems like a pretty quiet guy in real life. I've seen him out in public before. We shop at some of the same stores. He seems like a really nice, quiet guy. I guess once he gets on the stage he becomes a totally different person. I think that when he goes on a stage, he actually has to get into character much in the same way that an actor does when he plays a part. I really don't think that that was the real Michael Richards saying those things. I'll bet that he has never behaved that way in real life. I still hold him accountable for his behavior. Just because you are on stage, it does not give you the freedom to behave that way. His behavior was quite offensive. By the way, I am no fan of hecklers either. People have no right to go into a club and heckle a comedian. But it does happen sometimes and comedians needs to be prepared and act professionally. Richards was obviously not prepared. |

![]() Bitter old man. His anger probably comes from depression stemming from not being in the spotlight for the past few years. Probably hooked on pharmaceuticals and/or coke.
Oh well you know this meltdown is going to be milked for all it's worth and will probably result in ridiculous debates on the news/talk show circuit where the arguments will dissolve into something like this right before being sent to a commercial break... http://users3.ev1.net/~rootstudio/fy...anhoochies.swf |

![]() He did go way over the line with his anger, but seemed to realize the damage he did and will pay the price for his diatribe. Btw...read somewhere that each cast member of 'Seinfeld' make in excess of 100,000,000 for their run on primetime! Who needs the spotlight with that kinda dough?

![]() i agree that hecklers have no place, why anyone thinks they have the right (oh, but they'll claim free speech i suppose) to go in and verbally abuse a comedian is beyond me.
BUT, he went way too far. of course demands for an apology will be shouted--why? why does everyone rush to demand an apology? like it'll make it all better...if in fact richards is a racist--why would saying i'm sorry for opening my mouth change anything? is he supposed to say i'm sorry i lost my temper, or sorry that i'm a racist?

![]() I just watched the video. To me it sounded like he was trying to be funny like a racial humor kind of thing. Honestly to me it did seem that way. He did step over the line though. He is a white man doing racial humor. NOT A GOOD THING. Only black comedians can say those things. IE: Dave Chappelle. That blind black man who was in the KKK was a funny bit.
I don't know if he is a racist or not. He maybe a little with those jokes. But is he an outright mean nasty "send them all back to Africa" racist? I don't know. He did apologize for his behavior as was warranted.
