After being outbid a half dozen times this sale season, thrilled to steal this good-sized Irish War Cry filly last week at OBS for $15,000.. The Maryland Million-qualified NY-bred who comes from a very nice female family including 3rd dam Who Did It and Run, is at Belmont already though there's no immediate rush to get her to the races as she needs to gain some weight.

FUN UPDATE ~ COUNTESS CONSTANCE has surprised everyone by coming to hand rapidly and as of yesterday, Gary believes she'll be ready for a Saratoga start. Her gate work has been particularly strong and she's probably 80% fit with 2 weeks of work yet to come before possible assignments. There is a 6f (dirt) race on Thursday September 2nd and a 5.5f (turf) opp on closing day, Labor Day 9/5. And note, there is 10% left on Countess if anyone wants to jump in.. tpkasept@yahoo.com
