Just saw you on loose on the lead, how did you hit the middle pick 4 when the one you gave out didn't hit because you had a B horse win with a C horse, I am losing thousands following your picks and you are bragging about hitting a big one at Kentucky downs, this is the last time I look at this website, good luck

You can follow a great handicapper and use their picks maryhope, but if you don't understand how to wager you are guaranteed to lose even when those very picks are excellent. Chances are, even when YOU win you are leaving money on the table, which isn't as different as losing as you may think.

Doesn't sound like this lady spent much time doing the work herself. I like Steve's picks, but I don't rely on them solely. I am much more likely to handicap myself and compare his work to my own and when they differ, I take a closer look and try to figure out why our opinions don't agree. I just don't think you learn this game by letting someone else do all the work. Also, I think you are right. I sometimes get caught up in the handicapping and pretty much ignore the other most important thing which of course, is the betting.

I've seen way to many good handicappers throw money away at this game because they bet like preschoolers. Understanding how to wager is the single most important, and the single most underrated aspect, of making money playing the races. 2 people that like the same exact horses never end up making/losing the same amount of money. That's what separates good players from mediocre/poor ones.

Win Quality > Win Quantity

Too many people need the instant gratification of a cashed ticket.

I played a $96 caveman ticket and I hardly bragged as I'm down plenty. I'm sorry it hasn't been a profitable Saratoga.

Quite something Ed. Still a little snakebit as Citizen K was worth $3k.
