Default Miraculous Miss.

Has anyone heard about Miraculous Miss and how she's doing?

I heard she was quite fine. I know Wonder lady Ann l is. I will forever hate Miraculous Miss for causing that. Wonder lady would have taken that race the way it unfolded with that last 1/2 in almost 51 (50:4).
Wonder lady zoomed in a workout this morning. Went 5 furlongs in 59:1, more than full second quicker than the next fastest move at that distance.
Shes entered in the race at delware this saturday with Ramon Dominguez on board. But its such a quirky track that horses either love or hate that you can never be sure running over there unless the horse has been over it before. On pure ability shes better than what she is entered against.

When Miss flipped under the gate she started thrashing and clipped Wonder lady's hind leg, she was in the adjacent stall to Miraculous Miss. Thats hard luck, damn hard luck when you watch the race unfold after that and see three staggering winos come home the last 1/2 in 50:4 with noone gaining on them. Wanna bet Wonder lady would have been "gaining on them"?

Wonder Lady Anne L would have won that race?

Next thing you know I'm going to read somewhere here that Master Command ran a huge race last time.

The way the race unfolded I think she would have won the race, yes. They staggered home in 50:4 with noone gaining. Shes much better than Fond Romance, and she actually got involved late. The way Wonder lady likes to finish her races, I'd have to say in that staggerfest to the wire she would have been awfully tough to beat. She'd run a 3 and a 5 in her last two on TG. I highly doubt the winner got anything better than a 6.

She might have put in a good effort but there is no way of knowing if she beats Bushfire. That horse was tough. The times were weird at belmont because of the wind so hard to say the last half was really that slow.

Bushfire earned an 89 Beyer. I am not fond of Beyers but they are not without any merit. I certainly feel that since Wonder lady easily runs in that range that she would have certainly been in it. I think Bush's sheet number will be putrid at best since she also saved all ground. The Acorn will be the slowest grade one for 3yo fillies all year long, of that I have no doubt.

may I just say Mike that I am glad your filly wasn't seriously injured. The asst. starter should have let Miraculous Miss go instead of pulling her back IMO.
