Default Venue for Saturday Monmouth Park

Let's play races 2 thru 12. Hopefully Friday's storms will not affect the turf races . Thank you all for the congrats.

Nice call RQ. Going back to Monmouth Park brings back memories of oh so many years ago at that part of the Jersey Shore. There were separate windows for betting and cashing, the only types of bets you could make were W,P,S and the early Double. I think there were separate windows for $2, $5 or $10 tickets, and one exclusive window for the $50 bettors. The minimum age to place a bet was 21, but no one ever asked me my age, the just looked at the cash for the bet. At the end of the day you inevitably ended up with a pocket full of dimes since that was the only change the payout tellers had for those $4.80 winnings.

Seems like a long time ago now, but that area was a good place to grow up.
